There’s a silence. A eerie quiet that lays heavy in the bush. You shift your weight in the chair, leaning forward peering out into the dusk. You can feel it, you’re ready. a mosquito flies by and you inadvertently swing at it, missing. You refocus. There. A brown bear has materialized out of the bush and is feeding at the bait. You don’t know how he got there, but he’s there. It’s go time. Your heart races like you’ve never imagined. two seconds prior you were at full rest, now your adrenaline has kicked in and your moment has emerged.
I whisper in your ear, “take ’em”.
This could be you. Sound fun? It is immensely exciting! One client I hunted with had a watch on that measured his heart rate, he went from a resting 52 bpm to 120bpm in one heart beat when the bear showed up!!

I offer baited brown bear and baited black bear hunts in several different regions of Alaska. Some are accessible by airplane and others by boat. Set ups are comfortable, and physical requirements are few. Most baits we can get motorized access to within a hundred yards or so where the blind. There are no hills or backpacking required.
I can accommodate two hunters at a time, provided they come together. you won’t be hunting with strangers and I do not have any other clients in the field. One hunt at a time, full attention and priority.
One brown bears not enough fun? I understand. Luckily we have baits in areas with a two brown bear and five black bear limit! If your interested in a extended stay and multiple animals on the dance card, drop me a note and we can hammer out the details to give you the adventure your looking for.
Baited bear hunts are scheduled for late May, June and the first week of July.
